Jennifer Northup, founder of Silver Spoon Jewelry, has had a lifelong fascination with antiques and vintage jewelry. Following the inheritance of her great grandmother’s silverware collection, Jennifer and her husband, Daniel, were inspired to design a line of jewelry and accessories based on vintage silverware patterns from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Each and every design was designed and crafted from intricate parts of vintage silverware patterns from the era. Read below to learn more about how your special design was created. Each piece is silver plated with findings made from rhodium. Length ~ 16 - 18" adjustable, each pendant shows it's specific size below.

Bird ~ The body of this precious bird was created by combining parts of vintage spoon patterns. The body is made from the bowl of a teaspoon, and its delicate wings and tail were taken from the ends of demitasse spoons. Pendant: 2" x 3/4", silver plate
Butterfly ~ The design of this butterfly necklace was inspired by spoon patterns from the 1800s. Match it with the ring (sold separately)! Pendant: 1 7/8" x 1"
Duchess Cat ~ A lovely cat inspired by teaspoons adorned with roses. Pendant: 1 1/2" x 1 1/4"
Hang in there Cat ~ This curious cat, inspired by floral tea spoons is perfect for any cat lover. Pendant: 1 5/8"
Dragonfly ~ The wings of this whimsical dragonfly were cut from the ends of antique demitasse spoons from the 1800s. Pendant: 2 1/4" x 1 1/2"
Elephant ~ The ears of this majestic elephant are crafted from the handles of two spoons, while the face and trunk are formed by a third spoon handle. Pendant: 2" x 1 3/4"
Frog ~This unusual little frog was created using antique spoon handles from the late 1800s. Pendant: 1 1/2" x 1 3/8 (Call for picture)
Goldfish ~ The fins of this precious goldfish were cut from the handles of floral demitasse spoons from the 1800s, and his body was inspired by the bowl of a tiny teaspoon. Pendant: 1 7/8" x 1"
Hummingbird ~The wings of this gorgeous hummingbird were cut from the ends of rose-adorned demitasse spoon patterns from the 1800s. His body was made from the bowl of a tiny teaspoon. 2" x 1 7/8"
Octopus ~ The swirling tentacles of this shiny silver octopus necklace are made from the prongs of two forks. The head of the octopus is inspired by an ornate spoon handle from the late 1800's. Pendant: 2" x 2 1/4"
Owl ~ The body of this charming barn owl was created using the bowl of a spoon. The wing and tail are made from two pieces of the same pattern, and the captivating eyes and head were inspired by another pattern. 1 3/4" x 1" (Call for picture)
